Video Game Design
All courses are instructed by industry-leading developers to bring real-world knowledge and industry standards to students. The goal is to expose children at an early age to this high-demand field to prepare them for future careers in software/application development, video game design and computer engineering.
Video Game Design - Level 1: Introduction to Coding: This 4-week course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of the computer programming language, JavaScript. The students will complete course activities to solve coding challenges using block code format as well as standard written code. The students will demonstrate their problem-solving skills by presenting code outcomes in front of the class. Prizes for solving code challenges will be given throughout the course. There is an emphasis in this course on not only education but also interactive fun!
Please note: There are 3 levels in the course. This are prerequisites, Level 2: Coding Novice and Level 3: The CODEt
Prepay and Save: The full course is 12 weeks. Level 2 begins after completion of Level 1 (See CCK classes tab for details) followed by Level 3. To register for the entire 12-week course now you will save an additional 20% off the full course!
